The Cancelled Series

The Cancelled Series shows the profound impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the creative industry, highlighting the stories of performers adapting to a world put on hold. In this project, performers of all genres are photographed on their doorsteps, recreating their signature stage moves.

Featuring 65 artists, the series showcases the resilience of the creative industry, capturing how performers found new ways to connect and create amidst challenging circumstances. It also delves into the far-reaching effects of isolation—illustrating how the pause in live events touched communities, audiences, and supporting industries.

Shot using a 14mm wide-angle lens and an 8mm fisheye, The Cancelled Series presents a unique perspective, emphasising themes of distance and transformation. These dynamic visuals highlight the enduring spirit of creativity and adaptability in unprecedented times.
